I didn't invent that, but that's definitely what we have to call him.
I'll check my DVR tonight to see whether I recorded "Pandora" or got a gigabyte's worth of hash. If the former, I can probably burn a copy to DVD over the weekend. Or tomorrow morning, if I don't stop to clip out commercials.
Working late tonight, but will be able to pick up email messages by 9pm or so, or you can use the LJ text-message thingy to ping me...
"Ping me" on the cell phone, that is...
I think you know who I mean.
Noo, who? *confused and slow*
Do you do spoilers? As in, not for last night, but for the future?
I have nothing new to add to the various concepts of Jack as the world's least willing X-Man, except to note that his outfit would be the exact same suit he always wears, with an X-shaped tie-clip. Period.
Genius.
You can just see it, can't you?
Only she can answer this question.
I think you know who I mean.
I must be slow this morning, because I haven't a clue. Who? WHO?
Casting spoiler. Casting spoiler. Think about it.

3) Should there not be an episode next year that is essentially the Jack-Marshall buddy-movie episode? Tell me how great that would be.
I would marry that episode and have its little episodic babies.
I honestly don't see how that could fail to be a terrific time.

the show o' the day on the SciFi Channel is The Incredible Hulk, which is why I had to choose that answer to the poll and think fondly of your related XF fic.
does your vcr not have programming technology? this has made many a happy viewing experience for me that would otherwise have been sorrow and mayhem.
It does have programming technology, and is in fact frighteningly smart, adjusting itself for DST without my input, so forth and so on. However, I have the VCR programmed to tape Lost and Alias -- last night, I didn't want Lost, so I didn't pre-set it; reprogramming it seemed overly bothersome, and once again, in the first glow of Alias-beginning, I forgot to just go punch RECORD. Alas.
I was wondering how the Hulk option was keeping pace with the (to me) more-inviting vibrating option. Now I know.
6) I have nothing new to add to the various concepts of Jack as the world's least willing X-Man, except to note that his outfit would be the exact same suit he always wears, with an X-shaped tie-clip. Period.
Oh Lord, I almost died laughing. Can you imagine Jack in the Danger Room? Heh.
Jack would not be doing any of that naked fighting in the Danger Room. He'd walk in once, be told to disrobe, look at that person and set them on fire, and that would be the end of that.
Poor Daddy Mutato. If he knew his future was jazz hands, he'd strangle himself with a tie.
He'd strangle himself! If only -- he could -- unclench -- the jazz hands!
In the X-Men, Logan is called "Wolverine." Marie is called "Rogue." Scott is called "Cyclops." What would Jack be called?
I'm going with "Scowl."
Love, love, love the development of the Jack/Marshall relationship. Marshall was so adorable and sweet last night, trying to pull one over Jack and Sloane, with, of course, the best of intentions. I hope they continue to pursue that relationship.
I thought based on Sloane's initial reaction to Nadia's revelation that she'd been to see Katya, it did seem like he might've been aware of the visits. Then again, maybe he's just a master of concealing surprise.
You know what I found most interesting about the ep? I've never forgotten that line from Irenicon about Arvin having the gift of being able to believe what he wants to believe (ICAM). So when he told Nadia "then do," with that intense look that seemed to be willing her to share in that particular gift, I was amused.
Love the results of the poll, btw. #2 is definitely the way to go.
It's funny how Raptor could kinda be a mutant name. (I prefer your "Scowl," though. Bwah!) And X-Menverse already has its very own Phoenix. *g*
I would love for more Mack Daddy on the show, seriously. Jack and Marshall really, really need to perpetrate something together.
I think you're right that Sloane knew about the chats with Katya. And that raises the question: Is Katya playing Sydney and Nadia? Is Katya in turn being played? If Sloane didn't mind Katya talking to Nadia, that means he's okay with whatever information is being transferred. Hmmm. Right now, I would lean toward "Katya being played" -- I think she believes Irina dead.
I'm glad the "Irenicon" line still seems accurate! Poor crazy Arvin.
My ficathon story, Heritage is posted on my LJ. Because if I wait to post it, I'll have a writerly panic attack. Hope you like it, ramdonomo!
You went first! You rule! Go you!
Yay for more fic! The few, the brave, the early posters!
I feel a bit weird posting this in my own thread, but in case anyone seeks all the links together: "Dragonfly", written for miladygrey. Hope you enjoy!
Yay for more WowWrongBadHot!
Okay (finally). My entry: Her Mother's Daughter. I know, I know, lamest title ever, but I completely blazed through my creative energies with the story itself (sad, considering the story).
Thank you so very much for hosting the Jack/Nadia ficathon.
I've loved all the J/N fic I've read so far...including your 4 part piece, which was wonderful. I'm very excited to read all the new entries. Thanks again for hosting this.
I'm so glad you're enjoying! We should have plenty more stories appearing in the next couple of days, so hang tight. :D
*cringes* Okay... here's my offering. Ellipsis
No cringing! Yay for WowWrongBadHot!
And can you answer this post and say who the recipient is, in case she's checking? Of course, I could go look this up myself --
So...I sort of chickened out of signing up for the ficathon, but since I just happened to finish something within the time limit I figured there was no harm in sharing the Nack love. So my, non-technical, contribution: Release
Hey, the J/N love is good to share any time, any place. Thanks so much for throwing this into the pool!
here is my entry for giannaIt's called "Sip" can can be found Here
The link above will still get you to the story and the original comments to it, but due to an lj hiccup, you can find "Sip" more easily here. Thanks!
I wrote For Now for superswank. Thanks so much for organizing this! I've had a blast writing and look forward to reading all of the other great stories.
Hey there, resmin...I couldn't find the link to this story. Do you still have it up?
Hi darling--
sorry I haven't responded yet; am still writing my own story and am foregoing all J/N until it's finished. However, I am SO looking forward to it!
Thanks,
